What is Hospice Care?

Where can I get Hospice Care?
  • Hospice is not a place, but rather a type of care that can be provided wherever a person resides. 

Who is Eligible?
  • Patients with a diagnosed life expectancy of six months or less if the illness follows its usual course.

  • Certification is required by a physician and the hospice medical director.
